Pick a route, or leave both as any city, and BookAir emails you when a matching leg is listed.
How booking works
- Pick a leg. Each one has a fixed route and date set by the operator.
- Send a request. BookAir confirms with the operator that it is still available.
- Confirm and fly. You get the final price with GST before you pay anything.
Common questions
What is an empty leg?
A private aircraft that has to fly without passengers, usually to return to base or reach its next charter after dropping someone off. The operator can sell that flight instead of flying it empty.
Why is it cheaper than a normal charter?
The flight is happening anyway, so the operator prices it below a full charter of the same route. The price is for the whole aircraft, so it gets better the more seats you fill.
Can the date or time change?
Yes. An empty leg depends on the charter before it. If that charter moves or is cancelled, the empty leg moves or is cancelled too, sometimes at short notice. BookAir tells you about any change before you pay.
How do I book one?
Choose a leg and send a request. BookAir checks with the operator that it is still available and sends the final price, including GST, before anything is booked or paid. Legs go to whoever confirms first.
Who operates these flights?
DGCA-permitted charter operators that work with BookAir, AIR BITOLA’s charter marketplace (also Bitola Industries Pvt Ltd). You can check any operator in our DGCA charter operator directory.
Empty legs are listed and managed by BookAir (www.bookair.in), operated by Bitola Industries Pvt Ltd, and flown by DGCA-permitted operators. AIR BITOLA shows BookAir’s live list and does not operate aircraft. Read how charter works in India or check an operator in the DGCA charter directory.
