Training pathways

Start with your flying goals.

PPL

Fly privately.

A Private Pilot Licence is generally for personal flying, rather than flying for remuneration.

CPL

Work towards a flying career.

A Commercial Pilot Licence is part of the qualification pathway for professional flying.

IR

Build instrument skills.

An Instrument Rating develops flying under instrument flight rules, subject to local requirements.

Requirements depend on the licensing authority. Check current medical, examination and experience requirements before committing to training.Read the pilot training guide
